It's easy to help!
By making a financial contribution in honor of a Starlight Midwest, Board Member, you will help to bring joy to more than 200,000 seriously ill children and families that Starlight serves in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Between the doctors visits and the hospital stays, living with a serious illness can force a child to grow up quickly. These children often find it difficult to have a 'normal' childhood, one where they can laugh and play in an environment where they are not different. With your support Starlight can continue to offer program and services such as:
- A bowling party Great EscapeTM event which allows the family the chance to spend quality time together away from the hospital and medical treatments.
- Fun CenterTM mobile entertainment units featuring the Nintendo WiiTM that roll right up to the side of a hospital bed and provide much needed distraction during a hospital stay
- Hospital Happenings® that bring entertainers to hospitals providing fun and giggles to the children who need it most.
