Volunteer Opportunities
Starlight's volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Without the commitment of those who believe in our cause, Starlight could hardly fulfill our promise to thousands of the Midwest's chronically ill children. As a volunteer, you will get to experience the unmatched feeling of fulfillment that comes with bringing joy to a sick child.
Whether it is time, money, in-kind donations or sponsorships, you can help directly impact the success of our programs. Becoming a Starlight volunteer is easy!
Simply download and complete our volunteer application and send it to us via email at volunteers@starlightmidwest.org or fax it to us at (312) 251-7825. Once we have received your application, a background release form will need to be completed. By applying, you will be able to sign up to receive our bi-weekly volunteer email, keeping you up-to-date on available volunteer oppoprtunities.
Volunteer Programs
Starlight Children's Foundation Midwest has many exciting volunteer opportunities. All training for volunteer opportunities will be provided through Starlight.
Great Escapes Volunteer Opportunities
- Great Escapes event volunteer
- Starlight's very own Carnival Picnic to celebrate the end of Summer:
- Where: Schiller Woods 8400 W. Irving Park Rd. Grove #4
- When: 1:00-4:00pm on Saturday, September 11, 2010
- What: Volunteers need to help run the carnival games and activities, apply temporary tatoos and face painting (if possible), registration, and food services. A total of 12 volunteers will be needed in order to ensure the event runs smoothly.
